Really interesting, thanks for sharing Jenny. I think same Transculturalism principles apply for classical music, operas or ballets: people from very different cultural backgrounds appreciate both listening and interpreting those pieces despite differences in languages and cultural values and even with differences in the music structure itself like in Western, Arabic ,Indian or Chinese ones for example.
